Watching America (www.watchingamerica.com) is currently looking for volunteers with second language skills to translate foreign news stories about the United States into English. You do not need prior translating experience to do this and we can coach you on accurately translating articles from the foreign press. You would be working mostly with the editors, editors Adair Fincher (Ms) and Jessica Tesoriero, and occasionally, with Robin Koerner, publisher and president of Watching America. While this is a volunteer position, it allows for flexibility in regards to how much or how little you would like to work, helps build your resume, comes with an offer of a solid letter of recommendation from Robin Koerner and gets your name on an internationally acclaimed website. All languages are needed and any new ideas you may have are welcome!
