We are looking for volunteer to come to North West province this summer and volunteer at our teaching and community development projects in the beautiful North West Mountains of Cameroon
Whether you're looking to take a gap year, a few months break, have recently graduated or just finished school, RUDEC Teacher Volunteering program give you the chance to take some time off and to spend meaningful time traveling, living, working and exploring Cameroon.
Volunteering is a great way to make a difference and contribute to development and conservation. RUDEC has Teaching, Community programs, Community Health outreach and organic farm work at some of the most beautiful and pristine locations in Cameroon

TEACHING PROJECTS
RUDEC teaching programs in rural communities focus on teaching English,mathematics,science,environmental education to the children of the many rural schools we work with. RUDEC volunteers help in conducting activities like painting, drawing, singing, art & drama, dancing, group work, games or other similar activities. Your help and assistance will be greatly appreciated in these rural schools and will be a refreshing change to existing curriculum. These schools typically have limited resources, both infrastructure and staff.
The emphasis of the classroom teaching, art activities and teaching English is to encourage creativity and allowing children to express themselves. You'll usually teach 4-5 hours a day, Monday through Friday. The rest of the day and weekends are free for you to explore the breathtaking surrounding and experience the colorful culture of rural Cameroon
Come and volunteer your time and energy to this worthwhile project and take back memorable and unforgettable experience.
We have distributed book donated by some French schools in France through one our teacher volunteer on this program to primary and secondary schools around Belo.

COST OF PROGRAM: THIS PROGRAM IS FREE
The average cost of stay is about 300euros maximum per month(food,electricity,water,rents and small taxis.
