Description:
Purpose: To produce photographs that capture Puente's work
Location: Rural communities surrounding Oaxaca City, Oaxaca
Time Commitment: Minimum 35 hours
Level of Spanish needed: Basic Level of English needed: Basic
Must provide: Camera and other necessary equipment
Puente provides: Film and developing costs if necessary
Skills/Qualifications:
• Experience photographing people and activities
• Ability to photograph while a workshop is taking place without causing distraction
• Portfolio of previous work
Responsibilities:
This volunteer will travel to rural villages with the Puente staff. While the staff is conducting workshops, this person will take photographs of the activities and participants. These photographs will be the property of Puente and used in publicity materials for the sole purpose of furthering Puente's mission.
