Description:
IssueLab, an online publishing forum for nonprofit research, is looking for individuals who are interested in scouring the web for nonprofits who do research and who might add their work to IssueLab's growing collection.
This is a "virtual" volunteer job that can be done from anywhere.
We are looking for persistent and inquisitive individuals with online research skills who are interested in research on social issues and enjoy using the web to find those hard to find nuggets of knowledge.
The job entails picking a social issue and identifying nonprofit organizations who are doing research on that issue. These lists are then shared with our staff who contact the organization about listing its work in IssueLab's collection.
This work is an extremely important contribution to IssueLab's mission of building the world's largest database of nonprofit produced research.
After all, sometimes it takes a village - or crowd - to make things happen.
How to Apply:
Please email Gabriela at gabi@issuelab.org, stating why you are interested in serving as a volunteer research reviewer and what issue(s) you want to sleuth!
