Description:

The charity WORLDwrite needs journalists and would-be PIs (Private Investigators) to dig deep and to develop and write articles for the press, newsletters, websites and blogs. These articles may be about our short documentaries, or may arise as a result of fact finding for a documentary not yet made on a global topic that needs an instant response, or may be about our volunteers’ experiences. Working with WORLDwrite and its fledgling not-for-profit film company Chew on it productions, this is a role for volunteers who want to pose critical, newsworthy questions in an accessible way. The journalist’s role is a key one, working through facts, ideas, newspapers, TV reports and websites to come up with fresh points, facts and interviews for well-written articles. The opportunity exists for volunteers to take on this demanding role as a whole or in part. Alternatively, you can just chip in with ideas or have a go at writing a short piece.

Previous skills not required but a commitment to global equality is a must!
