Description:

Audience grabbing and active minds are needed to help promote and market events and short documentaries with a global edge. Volunteers will work with the charity WORLDwrite and its fledgling not-for-profit film company Chew on it productions on short films and events that impact on the world. Marketing and PR is a vital role for volunteers who want to raise the public profile of important questions. This is a “people person” role and will involve picking up the phone, working to develop media contacts, researching promotional details, drafting press releases, coordinating publicity, selling tickets, advertising on websites and more. Working with other volunteers to get films that challenge the status quo into the wider world, the opportunity exists for volunteers to take on all aspects of this demanding role or to take on smaller tasks such as developing databases, preparing press releases, running promotional stalls and creating audiences.

Previous skills not required but a commitment to global equality is a must!
