Volunteer at Uhuru Furniture on Internet Marketing 2-4 hours a week!
This volunteer opportunity is a great way to commit a small amount of time to an important cause!
Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles is looking for a reliable individual to work 2-4 hours a week on our internet marketing project.
This project is an incredible source of donations, the sale of which benefits the African People's Education and Defense Fund (APEDF). APEDF has programs in Philadelphia and around the country which address the needs of African people. This is a great opportunity to participate with an organization that is engaging the community and people of all nationalities to acknowledge and change the social conditions in this country and right here in Philadelphia. You will have the chance to learn more about the international work of the Uhuru Movement and participate with local educational forums and events on topics like gentrification and community health care. Participation is voluntary and not required of volunteers.
We need someone who can commit to the project at least 2-4 hours a week. You will be working with our donations coordinator. Please contact her to set up an orientation.
