Description:
New Life Community’s is a transitional shelter that empowers homeless and jobless families with children to become self-sustaining by providing a 16- week job and academic training program. The goal is for every family to have found a job and new place to live by the time they complete our program. The shelter has several apartments and our maintenance technician is always looking for assistance. He would welcome volunteer help from experienced do-it yourself-ers or trained maintenance technicians. You can volunteer once a week, once a year or anything in between!
