Description:
VCD Nepal will provide you with the opportunity to work in print media in Nepal, as an exchange journalist. The newspaper you will be writing for is Tourism Times, with a focus on promoting tourism. You will be involved in general administration of the newspaper as well as the opportunity to contribute to destination reports around Nepal. Included in this program is the chance to photograph Nepal's stunning natural beauty. A wider range of topics can be discussed.
Your experience in journalism in your home country is very valuable for you to share your ideas and knowledge with the local Nepali journalist team. We can provide you with information to help you understand how media and communications work in Nepal.
The duration of stay and start and end dates of this project are flexible as this is an ongoing newspaper. Groups of journalists are also welcome if they would like to cover more extensive topics.
