NOVA ScriptsCentral's volunteer pharmacist program is called Pharmacist InSite. We coordinate and place pharmacists and pharmacy students at the free clinics in Northern Virginia to counsel patients and work with prescribers. You can choose from a number of clinics close to your work or home, and volunteer weekly, monthly or for special events. There is also an opportunity to provide phone support to patients about their medications. You must have a valid pharmacist license. Pharmacists in states other than Virginia can apply to provide donated care and receive permission through the VA Board of Pharmacy.
