Looking for Volunteers to Work with the Elderly (Boston, MA)
Little Brothers--Friends of the Elderly is a non-profit organization devoted to the low-income elderly population throughout Boston. Volunteers provide companionships to lonely elders who have little or no family or social connections. We are currently looking for individuals who are willing to devote some free time to help our cause. If you have 4 to 5 hours a month of freetime, consider visiting with an elder on a weekly basis, or helping us with parties and picnics throughout the summer months. If you have freetime during the work week, you can help us with in-office work, such as calling elders and chatting with them for awhile, or helping send out mailings and birthday cards.
