As some of you already know, HSFA is branching out with a great new form of communication to help protect America. Beginning this quarter and every subsequent quarter, we will be publishing a newsletter, "Awareness", to get the word out about who we are, what we do and great ways that the every day American can improve their lives. It is said that knowledge is power and amongst all of us we have a lot of knowledge about various subjects that can help make lives better.
As the editor of this great new tool, I am soliciting articles for our first
- and subsequent newsletters. The articles should fall into one of the practices that support our mission at HSFA such as safety, anti-terrorism, disaster preparedness, a green planet, protecting civil rights and liberties, etc. There is not a right or wrong article, just simply something that you think can help Americans. It can be an experience that you had that you learned from, a helpful hint that works for you, and opinion or a pertinent issue or some sort of information dissemination.
In keeping with the tenets of HSFA, please keep your ideas in a nonpartisan manner, have the articles be original and that have not be previously published. I really appreciate your assistance and look forward to a great newsletter!
