Description:
Shake Hands-India Volunteer Program will provide you a great volunteering experience of a life time. As a Shake Hands volunteer you’ll use skills that you take for granted to make a valuable Difference in a Children’s & Women’s Life. In Dharamshala, the program provides the perfect balance between cultural excursions, the opportunity to volunteer work with vulnerable groups of children and women in rural areas of Himachal Pradesh.
Dharamshala a twin town city; divided into lower and upper towns with a difference of 457m (1500ft.) between them. The mountains enfold 3 sides of the town and the valley stretches to the south. Dharamshala is known for its scenic beauty, calmness and tranquility. It has high pine trees, tea gardens and timber yielding trees.
