Description:
1-3 hours per week...
Develop a personal, ongoing relationship with an adolescent patient in our residential program. Provide emotional support and companionship to a youth with few, if any visiting resources from the community. Become a trusted role model, and demonstrate a healthy lifestyle. Activities include, but are not limited to: hanging out and talking, playing games, having a meal together, helping with homework, taking a walk on facility grounds, teaching a life skill (i.e. filling out a job application, etc.), phone calls, and appproved off-campus outings. Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older.
