Description:
Provide nursing assistance and non-medical services in our acute hospital and/or residential program. Assist with day-to-day tasks and attend to the basic needs of our patients and their families. Duties include, but are not limited to: visiting with and offering support to patients and their families; assisting with in-house dental visits, vision tests, and immunizations; stocking supplies; organizing utility space, staff lounge, and nursing stations; assisting with daily laundry; delivering mail; helping at bedtime; clerical support including filing patient reports, assembling charts, etc. Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older.
