Description:
Globalhood is looking for an individual who is passionate about creating positive change in the development field. We are seeking someone with enthusiasm and energy, and strong skills in organizational, technical, writing, and leadership areas.
*Board Director of Quality Assurance
This is a unpaid position and requires a commitment of 5-10 hours/month. It is an opportunity to grow with a multidisciplinary and multicultural organization with offices in various countries, alliances with UN agencies and CBOs, in which the objective is to ensure sustainability in communities around the world.
The board director is a key functional member of Globalhood and requires strong skills in the following areas:
*Quality Assurance Management Experience. –business or non-profit acceptable
*Experience developing, tracking, analyzing, and communicate quality related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implementing CQI tools and systems.
*Experience collaborating with top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures and goals. (Flexible)
*Experience developing initial and subsequent modifications of service assurance programs (M& E)
*Delineate areas of responsibility, personnel requirements, and operational procedures within programs.
*Experience assessing department budget allocation and effective use of resources.
*Experience reviewing technical problems and procedures of departments and recommend
solutions to problems or changes in procedures.
*Responsible for working with all board members and managers in the overall direction,coordination, and evaluation of projects delivered in relation to organizational objectives.
*Experience carrying out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies.
*Experience training employees; plan, assigning and directing work; appraisal performance; addressing complaints and resolve problems.
Minimum Experience and Degree
Required:
10 years in QA, RBM, M&E, CQI and management capacity; Graduate Degree Preferred.
