Description:
Globalhood is looking for an individual who is passionate about creating positive change in the development field. We are seeking someone with enthusiasm and energy, and strong skills in organizational, technical, writing, and leadership areas.
You will work along side with the Associate and Executive Director to develop existing ideas and create innovative new projects that reflect your own creative style and the diversity of Globalhood's clientele.
*Responsible for managing and directing Globalhood’s internal and external communications.
This is an unpaid position and the required time commitment is around 10 hours/month; a GREAT opportunity to grow with a multi-dimensional and multi-lingual organization with offices in various countries, alliances with various UN agencies and CBO, in which the objective is to ensure sustainability in communities around the world.
Qualifications:
The chosen candidate will have:
*Experience in PR and communications management, creating communication strategies and serving as a key spokesperson and media contact for the organization.
*Over 10 years of management experience, experience screening candidates and working with various department personnel to ensure organizational objectives are met.
Required Degree:
Graduate Level Degree Preferred
