Description:
Teaching English in Urubamba
Urubamba is a small town in Peru, located near the Urubamba River under the snow-capped mountain of Chicon, and just one hour away from Cusco. The town is located in the Sacred Valley and is surrounded by significant ruins of the Inca Empire.
Nexos Voluntarios work closely with three different schools in the community that are looking for volunteers to teach English.
POSITION: Teaching English to children in Pre-Kinder, Primary and High School.
OBJETIVE OF THE POSITION: Include English learning in regular curricula.
INTERN´S ROLE:
• Teaching English
ESTIMATED TIME: 9 weeks minimum
REQUIRED SKILLS: Proactive, responsible and enjoy working with children and adolescents.
