Work on fundraising, grant writing, events, donor relations, community connections, agency newsletters, press and media contacts, general public relations.
Possible Opportunities:
administrative assistance- involves data entry, filing, letter writing, mass mailings, and creating and maintaining inter-agency contacts with a focus on donor relations.
research- funding opportunities, grant sources, new potential donors, and areas of community support.
direct service- direct community relations, attending events, community networking, and acting as an agency representative
event planning- securing donations, publicity, sponsorships, menus, decorations etc.
