Description:
Opportunity Description:
The Community Outreach Leader of Children’s Programs teaches health and safety to children at community organizations and schools through presentations on emergency preparedness, water safety and basic first aid. These presentations require planning and travel to off-site locations. Training and support will be provided.
Time Commitment/Shifts:
A minimum of two 3 hour shifts per week during school hours
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Experience working with children/young adults
• Strong public speaking skills
• Ability to operate audio visual equipment (training provided if necessary)
• Willingness to travel to Manhattan for training
• Flexibility
• Punctuality
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Valid drivers license a plus
