Description:
We are a young organization and have just transitioned all of our contact and donor information into Salesforce.com (an online constituent relationship management database), so that everyone in our organization can easily see all of the people we interact with. However, there are still lots of pieces of information in documents and binders that needs to be entered to complete the database (thankfully, it’s not too much since we are only 2 years old!)
We are therefore looking for a computer savvy volunteer to help enter contact information into Salesforce. The bulk of the data entry will take place in January and February 2008, but this work will still be important thereafter. This position will take anywhere from 5-20 hours per week depending on your availability, and hours are very flexible.
Most work can be done remotely, but some in person meetings will be required for trainings and to exchange documents.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and Firefox
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus but not required (we’ll provide training)
- Good data entry skills & attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
