Description:
WOMAN, Inc. is dedicated to empowering domestic violence survivors to create lives free of violence. Our ultimate goal is to abolish domestic violence by promoting a violence free society through advocacy, education, and public policy. We offer domestic violence survivors a 24-hour multilingual crisis line and culturally sensitive support programs.
The Outreach Volunteer is responsible for outreach presentations and tabling. The Outreach Volunteer will facilitate presentations on WOMAN, Inc.’s services and Domestic Violence on her own, or with another Outreach Volunteer.
No previous volunteer experience is necessary.
We are particularly in need of bilingual English/Spanish volunteers, though everyone is welcome to apply.
Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender folks strongly encouraged to apply.
