Description:
Respite training begins January 22nd at 1:00 p.m.
Mature and caring volunteers needed to be a supportive companion and friend to a person with dementia and their family members/caretaker.
Volunteer may be asked to assist caregiver with errands or appointments
Skills Required:
Able to be calm, flexible and keep a positive attitude
Compassionate
Good listener
Willing to fulfill time commitment
Completed orientation
18 years old or older
Has own transportation
