Description:
The General Support Specialist, Mass Care maintains records for Mass Care volunteers and material resources, maintains contact with volunteers to ensure accuracy of data and helps to guide volunteers through the steps in their Mass Care career path.
Time Commitment/Shifts:
One 4 hour shift per week during regular business hours
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excellent Excel skills)
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Data entry experience a plus
Training/Support:
• Volunteer Orientation & Fulfilling Our Mission (4 hours)
• Mass Care (3 hours)
• Shelter Operations (3 hours)
• Shelter Simulation (3 hours)
• Additional training to be provided by department
