Description:
Volunteers are needed to set up apartments before new refugee families arrive in Louisville. This set-up includes assembling bed frames, making beds, putting away kitchenware and food as well as toiletries in the bathroom, and creating an atmosphere that feels like home. Some light work is required (putting together bed frames). The set ups can be completed anytime during week and weekends.
How to Apply:
All volunteers must complete an orientation and pass a background check before beginning. Contact Shelley Dewig, Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@kyrm.org or at (502) 479-9180 ex. 53 for an application and to schedule an orientation, or visit our website at www.kyrm.org to submit an online application.
