Description:
As a health volunteer, you shall be assisting a nurse or doctor in a health facility in Ghana. A volunteer could also be assisting in the OPD or any related health field of interest including dental, antenatal, etc department.
Basic Requirements
Since VPWA started recruiting volunteers in to the West African country of Ghana, volunteers have played more key roles in delivering development efforts. To become a VPWA volunteer one should fulfil the following minimum requirements:
· At least age 18 (no maximum age limit);
· Good knowledge in English language
· Strong commitment to values and principles of volunteerism;
· Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment;
· Ability to adjust in difficult living conditions;
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
