Description:

BWCP is a growing organization with limited resources. That's why we advertised for that position for someone who can be able to help us in terms of fund raising and marketing in general.
Since its launch in 2004, Healthy Moms for Healthy Kids has been striving to achieve the following objectives

- To provide medical care and counseling to women and children in the region.

- To teach local young people and women basic healthcare and hygiene techniques.

- To provide education to children in the region, who are currently excluded.

- To improve the ability of local women to sustain themselves and their families.

We do this through the following activities and programmes:

· Micro credit program – Our micro credit project aims to alleviate poverty and empower women, by allowing them to further their small-scale initiatives.

· Orphan Program – This program involves meeting the basic needs of more than 60 children who are orphaned or living in extreme poverty. It involves providing basic necessities such as clothing, shoes, medical care, housing and food.

· Education Program – More than 80 children and 40 women are currently receiving an informal education through this initiative.

· Counselling Program – Women and children who previously abused drugs or have been displaced receive counseling, rehabilitation and advice through this initiative.

· HIV/AIDS Program: This program works with the infected and the affected to mitigate the effects it has on individuals, families and the local communities. The programme aims to equip women, offer counseling, testing and home-based care.

· Feeding Program: The children involved in this program receive a hot breakfast and hot lunch each day.
