Description:
The Sustainability VISTA will implement and support Environmental Sustainability programming that connects youth with family members and the community to address key concerns such as water and energy conservation, alternative technologies, and waste reduction.
AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) volunteers commit to "Fight poverty with passion" for one year. VISTA members receive a modest living allowance, healthcare, and either an end of service $4,725 education award or a $1,200 stipend.
