Description:
The Technology VISTA will implement and support programming that bridges the digital divide. VISTAs will support our computer reuse/rebuilding program, develop technology resources for partner sites, and
expand community education programs. VISTAs may also contribute to our digital stories program, working with youth to collect and compile oral histories and photos into short videos.
AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) volunteers commit to "Fight poverty with passion" for one year. VISTA members receive a modest living allowance, healthcare, and either an end of service $4,725 education award or a $1,200 stipend.
