Description:
Step by Step seeks a VISTA to develop and promote further youth programming in the four-county region that Step by Step serves. The VISTA will be responsible for researching & developing funding resources for youth programs, as well as developing curricula for existing youth mentoring programs, including the Front Porch project and Big Ugly Community Center's teen mentoring program. Working with local schools and Step by Step's partners, the VISTA will work to strengthen existing youth development programs.
VISTAs receive a modest living stipend, healthcare, and can choose between a $4,725 end of service education award or $1,200 stipend.
