Description:
The Backside Learning Center offers free educational programming to the women and men working in the barn area of Churchill Downs racetrack. We are looking for volunteers to help during our ESL classes on Monday & Tuesday evenings. Volunteers will work one-on-one or in small groups with adult students, using the class curriculum to prepare new students to enter class and/or to help struggling students catch up.
You are welcome to volunteer from now to the end of November, but our greatest need is for the dates listed.
