Here’s a way you can and it won’t cost you much more than some creativeness, drive, and a few phone calls!

The Appropriate Infrastructure Development Group (AIDG) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to provide rural villages in developing countries with affordable and environmentally sound technologies that meet their needs for electricity, sanitation and clean water. Through a combination of business incubation, education, training and outreach, AIDG helps individuals and communities gain access to technology that will improve their lives. Our model provides a novel approach to sustainable development by empowering people with the physical tools and practical knowledge to solve infrastructure problems in their own communities.

In order to make AIDG’s mission a reality in developing countries we need YOUR help. AIDG seeks volunteer fundraisers to work with us in our project to raise the valuable funding needed to continue our work. In appreciation for your compassion, time, and giving we will offer the top fundraiser a trip to visit Guatemala and AIDG’s international office hub where sustainable development is put to action!

This is NOT a paid position. Interested fundraisers will receive an information pack with all the details. You must have a phone and internet access to participate. This fundraising campaign begins April 15th, 2009 and ends December 31st 2009. The minimum for “top fundraiser” qualification is $3,500.
