Description:
SEDA-Laos is looking for a volunteer or intern Health Educator to help with our Preventable Diseases Training Program. This will include STDs/HIV/AIDS, communicable diseases (such as TB) and hygiene related and insect borne diseases (diarrhea, malaria). The position is open to someone with experience in health education, who is able to pass valuable skills on to local staff so they can train and educate about preventable diseases in rural and remote areas in Laos.
The project will focus on both genders, but especially young girls and teenagers. Trainers must be creative, and have experience in project design, writing and public speaking, as well as an interest in international development. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a grassroots organization and help make a real difference for the people of Laos.
