Description:
SEDA-Laos (Social and Economic Developers Association) has an opening for a volunteer or intern Grant Writer to help the organization apply for upcoming grant opportunities and to train local staff. Duties include identifying suitable funding opportunities, researching and developing project proposals and budgets. This position has the potential to make a huge difference in the lives of poor people by bringing in much needed resources.

The position can be based outside Laos for grant writing. If the person also trains staff in grant writing and research this would require a period in Laos. This position would be suited to a person with grant writing and/or research experience. Knowledge of social and economic development would be an advantage. Funding submissions are written in English, so high level English writing skills are required.

SEDA is a small Laos-based NGO that is currently setting up and implementing various programs in the rural regions of Laos. We are based in the capital city of Vientiane.
