Description:

LP Pencil Box is a free school supply store for Metro Nashville Public Schools that provides basic school supplies to teachers for their disadvantaged students.

If you have a passion for our cause and are wanting to use your skills and talents, we encourage you to contact us. There are a variety of skills that can be used at the LP PENCIL Box, such as computer skills, film talent, marketing skills, etc. We would love to have you be involved with our cause doing what you already love to do.

We are also in need of volunteers that assist teachers in locating needed supplies, help sort donations, restock shelves, and assist in the general upkeep of the store. This project provides you with valuable work skills and experience!

Shopping assistants are needed Tuesdays-Thursdays from 2-6 pm.
The store is also open some Saturdays from 9 am-4pm. The following are the available Saturdays:

September 19th, 2009
October 17th, 2009
November 21st, 2009


Whatever you want to do please contact us and we will try to find the right fit for you as a regular volunteer.

This project is open to teen volunteers age 14 and older.
