Description:

Share what you know and love with the children of Springfield!

WHO: Any individual or group with skills to share with young people aged 11-14!

WHAT: Teach your profession or hobby in after-school apprenticeships. No teaching experience is necessary! All Citizen Schools volunteers receive intensive training and are
supported by a full-time, professional educator every step of the way. Lawyers turn their
apprentices into prosecutors, engineers help their students design new inventions, artists cultivate young muralists, gardeners lead a team of twelve year-
old green thumbs.

WHEN: Volunteers teach weekly 90-minute learning projects for 10 afternoons. The fall
session begins in late August and ends in mid-December.

WHERE: Citizen Schools runs at the Duggan Middle School at 1015 Wilbraham Road in Springfield.
