Description:

Share what you know and love with the children of Malden!

WHO: Any individual or group with skills to share with young people aged 11-14!

WHAT: Teach your profession or hobby in after-school apprenticeships. No teaching experience is necessary! All Citizen Schools volunteers receive intensive training and are supported by a full-time, professional educator every step of the way. Lawyers turn their apprentices into prosecutors, artists cultivate young muralists, engineers help students become inventors, and chefs help students create healthy culinary delights!

WHEN: Volunteers teach weekly 90-minute learning projects for 10 afternoons. The fall
session begins in late August and ends in mid-December.
WHERE: Citizen Schools runs at the Salemwood School located at 529 Salem Street in Malden.
