Description:
We at Abusua Foundation have recently bought a plot of land in the Cape Coast area of Ghana, and need help cultivating the land and creating a sustainable agricultural development project.
We are looking for volunteers with a farming or agricultural background who are interested in working in development in Africa.
We want a volunteer who:
-Is committed to helping a small NGO in Ghana develop its agricultural resources
-Feels comfortable working and interacting with people from different backgrounds
-Will help fundraise and grant write to bring more money into the project
-Has a “can do” attitude, and won't give up just because it’s tough
How to Apply:
If you think you’re up for the challenge please send a cover letter (detailing when you would like to volunteer) and resume/CV via email to the Programme Coordinator, Abusua Foundation: amalawski@abusuafoundation.net
We provide food and accommodation, airport pick-up and drop-off, orientation in Ghana, and 24/7 emergency support for $120 a week with a $300 deposit.
