Event/Fundraising Event Organizer
Join the Beyond Talent's Fundraising Team to help organize our November fundraiser, a social event at a DC location with live music and a live auction.
Location:
This volunteer opportunity is located in Washington, DC however we only meet in person once a month at a downtown location. All other "work" can be managed according to your own schedule.
Tasks we will be working on are looking for support:
o Work with local area businesses to secure donations for the Silent Auction
o Handle the "administrative side" of the Silent Auction
o Work with community business donate food & drink for the event
o Manage logistics pertaining to the event
Skills:
No prior event planning, fundraising experience needed. We have a volunteer with extensive experience with organizing silent auctions thus this is also a great learning experience.
Team:
The volunteer Event/Fundraising Event Organizer will work with Beyond Talent's Fundraising Committee led by the Chair of that Committee, other Board members and volunteers.
