Description:

A positive role model is crucial for refugee adolescents to succeed in the classroom and the workforce. The Youth Empowered for Success Program (YES) teaches refugee youth ages 14-18 the skills they need to succeed in school and in the future. Volunteers provide one-on-one tutoring and help students participate in enrichment workshops focused on social, emotional, and professional development

The YES Program takes place Saturdays from 10-1 . Volunteers commit to at least 3 Saturdays each month, for a semester. Orientation is provided.
