Atma
Atma Mumbai is an NGO who helps other NGOs to excel. Established NGOs face many day-to-day problems and often have no one to turn to. They find themselves struggling for daily survival and they can only react instead of operate pro active within their external and internal environment.
Atma Mumbai partners with NGO's, who are working in the field of education and children, to become sustainable and professional organizations. And therefore are able to positively change the lives of thousands underprivileged children in Mumbai.

Period of volunteering:
Minimum time of three months; starting date flexible, but the sooner the better.

Job role:
Our partner organizations are looking to expand computer programme offerings.
This volunteer job role is to facilitate the development of IT systems, set up, and manage break downs etc.
Skills/technical requirements:
? good organizational skills
? good personal communication skills
? a sound understanding of computers in general (ie.'computer literate' / savvy)
? ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
? any computer programming experience would be useful
? any experience in software requirements analysis and/or design would be very useful

Housing and working conditions:
Atma Mumbai will assist to find housing for intern. The intern will work at the Mobile Crèches office located in Colaba, as well as in the field at sites across Mumbai. A laptop will be provided by Atma Mumbai during the working period. A stipend will not be provided, the cost of travel, housing and living expenses will be the responsibility of the intern.

Expectations
To work diligently for the organization based on the above mentioned areas, creating focus while remaining flexible within the working environment.

Expectation of Atma Mumbai:
Provide support and guidance throughout the internship period and give preparation information prior to the internship. Assist in adapting to Mumbai city and Indian culture and in the working relation with the NGO.
