Description:
Serve on Breathe New Hampshire's (BNH) 25th Anniversary Bike Tour Planning Committee! The Bike Tour is BNH's oldest and largest fundraising event of the year to be held this coming year on May 15 & 16, 2010. Event participants ride their bicycles from Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Ogunquit, Maine and back to raise funds and show support for lung health programs in New Hampshire.
Committee meetings are generally held once a month on Thursday evenings at the Breathe New Hampshire office in Bedford, New Hampshire beginning in July through the Bike Tour weekend in May. If you would love to get involved, but can't commit to attending each monthly meeting, consider joining a Bike Tour subcommittee. Bike Tour subcommittees communicate via email and phone with their subcommittee lead and work on specific tasks for the event such as marking routes, securing raffle prizes, helping to plan and coordinate fun finish line activities, etc.
