Description:
The Rapid Results Institute is a non-profit organization that advocates for the adaptation of improved methods and approaches to international development. To do this, we 1) conduct projects throughout Africa that demonstrate how these innovative approaches yield improved development results and 2) build the capacity of local organizations and individuals to use these approaches.
Past projects have produced rapid and sustained increases in contraceptive usage rates (Madagascar), dramatic improvements to HIV/AIDS programs (Ethiopia, Eritrea and Sierra Leone) and significant reductions to malnutrition rates (Kenya). More information can be found at our current web site (www.rapidresults.org).
The Institute is currently seeking a technically skilled web-designer to help up improve our web-based advocacy tools. Specifically, we seek an individual to redesign our current web site, making it more user-friendly, visually attractive and supportive of multiple forms of media (i.e. short videos, photographs and pdf files). The ideal candidate will be skilled in the design of web page architecture and graphic design.
We can work with the volunteer via phone, email and video conference. As such, he or she does NOT need to be based in CT/New York area.
We look forward to working together and creating more efficient and effective approaches to development across Africa.
How to Apply:
Please email resume and a brief cover letter to info@rapidresults.org. Please list "Web Volunteer" in the subject line.
