Description:
We are looking for a web manager who is familiar with Joomla. This team member will be responsible for updating the website with new content and sections, updating event information in a timely fashion, updating and sending our monthly e-newsletter, etc. We estimate that maintenance tasks will take 5-10 hours per month. Special projects or events may take more time.
We are looking for a self-starter who can work independently with some direction. This is not a learning position. We are looking for someone who can immediately take the ball and run with it. The preferred candidate will be able to commit to a long term relationship with the organization.
Our organization is very open to everyone's new ideas and we love to have fun, so bring your thoughts and party hat! =) And, of course, your love of dogs!
We would prefer someone living in the metro DC area.
Required Skills:
# Experience with Joomla content management system
# HTML/CSS programming skills
