Overview -
Magical Moments Around the World is a global educational project dedicated to inspiring global coexistence, compassion, mutual care, understanding and a reverence of life, by fostering awareness that we are all connected by one human spirit. Gal Kleinman, the project's founder, is seeking visionary, passionate, skilled, and creative volunteers to form the core team. Be part of laying the foundation and join in creating an organization of dedicated inspiring individuals!
The Global Project director will be a member of the management team, and will work closely with staff members to provide leadership in creating, implementing, and evaluating the mm project on a global level.
S/he will be responsible for creating and managing educational materials. S/he will supervise and support local country Program Managers who manage the project in their respective countries. The position requires some teaching, presentation and public speaking activities. S/he will be a source of inspiration to those around him\her and lead by example. Support and empower people to use their potential, in making a positive impact on the world's youth. This is a full-time\part time, voluntary position done remotely from home or other location.
Responsibilities:
• Plans and creates the projects educational program
• Generates and/or supervises the creation of project guides for students and teachers
• Recruit, supervise and support a team of dedicated and talented local country project managers worldwide
• Maintains relationships with educators and partner organizations.
• Collaborates with staff to create content for the website
• Collaborates on funding and project proposals with Director of Fundraising and Director of Marketing & Communications
• Presents Magical Moments at conferences, and meetings with donors.
Qualifications:
• Passion for the project's mission
• Experience developing curriculum and working with educators and educational organizations is preferred
• Proven leadership capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - can interact effectively with a variety of constituents, equally comfortable as an ambassador in conferences as s/he is addressing young people.
• Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written). Bilingual or multilingual a plus.
• Excellent computer and Internet skills
• BA in related field preferred
