Description:

Okay, so we're really joking with the whole "Top Secret Agent" thing, but we're NOT joking at all about public safety. The world is a dangerous place and disasters can happen anytime, anywhere and without warning. Are you ready to help make America a safer place? Fantastic! If this is your first time volunteering, we welcome you. If you're a seasoned volunteer, then your country needs your service once again.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to join Ruby Redbook's fight to help Americans all over the nation be safe and live better. Here's how:

1.Join the mission by volunteering today.
2.Create your custom Ruby Redbook page (100% Free).
3.Choose a cause you'd like to support because 25% of all funds raised from your page will go to that IRS certified non-profit school, church or charity.
4.Talk to us as much as you need to - there's a forum and if necessary, we'll set up a few conference calls. We're here to ensure your volunteer experience is fulfilling and rewarding.
5.Tell people about your service to your country. Let them know about your page by sending emails to your family, friends and coworkers. Encourage them to support your favorite charity and HSFA's life-saving programs. Remember, when they donate, we donate to your charity and depending on how much they donate, they'll take home they're own copy of Redbook, HSFA's 284-page disaster preparedness and first aid manual, as a free gift.

This is an exceptional opportunity to foster the growth and development of a national nonprofit, non-Federal public entity devoted to improve homeland security while preserving Americans' civil liberties.

Tour of Duty:

There's no way out ... once you're in, you're in for life!!! Okay, we're joking again. Seriously though, you can stop being a Ruby Redbook Volunteer at any time. There's a button down at the bottom of your control panel that shuts your page down and deletes your login - but, who on earth would want to stop helping save lives? Please, back away from the "delete" button!!!

Benefits (The Ultimate Reward):

This is an unpaid volunteer position, but the benefits are off the charts, so much we like to call it the Ultimate Reward!!!! Here's what you get when you serve as a volunteer:

1.The JOY of being involved in your community!
2.25% of donations raised via your page go to the IRS certified non-profit school, church or charity of your choice and a portion of all donations goes to help feed the hungry and fight autism.
3.The pride of serving your country, knowing you've had a positive impact on others!
4.The opportunity to save a life through public safety awareness!
5.The opportunity to be recognized by the President of the United States through the President's Volunteer Service Award program!

You don't have to be a Major League Baseball player to know you can't beat that with a bat!!!! And, how about benefit # 5 ...??? Yep, that's right - your efforts as a Ruby Redbook Volunteer qualify for PVSA consideration, and we're talking recognition from the Commander in Chief himself, the President of the United States of America.

Remember, you can do more than just send a few emails and make phone calls. You can print your flyer or request your volunteer service credentials pack and go into your community to rally the people to your cause.

To be considered for a PVSA, all you have to do is track your hours and present them to us at the end of the year. HSFA is a certified organization for PVSA, so we can recognize you for your Ruby Redbook work plus any other qualified volunteer service with any organization you've volunteered at. Volunteerism is everything to us, so work hard and give us the opportunity to recognize you for your contributions. WOW, isn't this exciting!!! We think so.
