Description:

Responsibilities: The Volunteer Partner for Training Development and Delivery works with the Assistant Director, Disaster Training to provide effective and comprehensive Disaster Training to ARC/GNY volunteers and employees.

• Assist with the development and implementation of Disaster Training materials
• Assist with the development and coordination of Disaster Training course development policy
• Manage Instructor Authorization
• Assist with the development and delivery of Disaster Training special events
• Assist with the development and implementation of Disaster Training Department Policy
• Participates in the Disaster Training On-Call Rotation
• Assist as Training Supervisor at Volunteer Intake Center when activated
• Other projects as assigned by the Assistant Director, Disaster Training

Time Commitment: 5 – 10 hours per week with possibilities for telecommuting

Qualifications: The Volunteer Partner for Training Development and Delivery should have a background in education, volunteer management, social services, and/or non-profits.

• Strong oral and written communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Program Coordination experience
• Comfortable using computers, lcd projectors, and other training equipment
• Knows the Fundamental Principles and practices them everyday
