Description:

The International Rescue Committee is a leading non-profit organization providing needed services for refugees and victims of oppression or violent conflict.
Our Food Security and Community Health Department works to increase access to fresh, affordable foods among San Diego's refugee and low-income communities. We provide information and resources that will help them navigate the overwhelming and often unhealthy food options they encounter in the United States. We also support community-driven initiatives that celebrate culinary diversity and promote healthful eating.

The Nutrition Training Assistant will:

Plan recipes

Shop for food

Prepare and conduct demonstrations in class
