Description:
We are a charity specializing in developing innovative web-based solutions for education and development. We have launched and manage Rafi.ki Kidogo, an online learning community building successful schools partnerships around the world.
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to aid with the coordination and management of our schools' activities. The role will involve communicating with schools and students around the world and the moderation of the community's online communications. The intern will also help create, promote and upload educational resources for the schools to use.
In return for your time, we'll pay your travel and lunch expenses, give you advice on your CV and interview techniques and provide you with a reference (where appropriate).
We would expect the successful candidate to commit a minimum of 3 days and ideally 4 or 5 days a week for a minimum of 3 months.
Person Profile:
Essential: Highly organised with attention to detail, pro-active, strong written and oral communication skills, excellent telephone manner, some administrative experience, ability to perform well under pressure, good computer skills
Desirable: Educated to at least degree level, experience of teaching and/or working with schools,knowledge of another language
