Description:
The International Rescue Committee, is a leading non-profit organization providing emergency relief, protection, rehabilitation assistance, resettlement services and advocacy for refugees and victims of oppression or violent conflict. In San Diego, the IRC provides comprehensive services for refugees beginning anew in their new community.
IRC's Immigration Department provides low-cost immigration services, including filing applications for green cards and citizenship as well as family reunification for refugees, asylees and immigrants.
The Immigration Department Intern's main responsibilities will include administrative support and general office work. There will also be opportunities to assist with outreach to potential clients in the diverse San Diego community and the distribution of materials at community events.

Timeframe:
IRC is seeking an intern for a morning or afternoon shift a minimum 2 days a week. Intern should be able to commit to the program for 6 months.
